Proposals will then be reviewed, tabulated, and submitted to the Operations Committee at its next regular meeting scheduled to be held on Monday, Dec 5, 2022, for recommendation to the Common Council for Award of Contract(s) for performing the following service for calendar years 2023 and 2024. 2023 and 2024 MUNICIPAL STREET TREE CARE SERVICE The service being bid consists of contractor removal and disposal of approximately 100 City-owned trees and stumps annually, including stump hole filling, trimming of approximately 100 trees, emergency call-in work, treatment of prevention of disease and spraying of trees. The City may award the contract in total for all items of work or by separate contracts for grouped items of work as specified. Notice is hereby given that no proposal will be considered unless presented under sealed cover and accompanied by cash, bid bond, or cashier's check satisfactory to the Operations Committee, in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00), made out in the name of the City of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, as bid security. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of opening bids. The City of Beaver Dam reserves the right to accept any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding procedure and to award the contract(s) to the bidder(s) who, in the opinion of the City of Beaver Dam, will be most advantageous to said City.
