No Bids Which Are Tied to, or Contingent Upon, Other Work With the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Will Be Accepted. Bidders Shall Familiarize Themselves With the Conditions and Shall Understand That Full Cooperation in Executing the Requirements of the Scope of Work is Expected. The Work to Be Performed Under Itb-2022-012 Consists of: Licensed Contractor to Conduct an on-site Visual Investigation for Suspect Asbestos Containing Materials (Acm) in Homogenous Areas, Including Collection of Necessary Samples, Photo Documentation and Assessment of Site, and Providing Ota With a Neshap Report. S It Regulated Asbestos-containing Materials (Racm) Are Discovered a Project Design Would Need to Be Created and Submitted in a Timely Manner. In Awarding the Contract, the Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Informalities, and to Act for the Best Interests of the Authority Without Technicalities as to Procedure. Vi. All Contractors That Desire to Provide the Ota With Manual Service Work Are Required by State Statute to Complete an Employee E-verify Form. Policies of Insurance Will Not Be Cancelled Without First Giving the Ota 30 Calendar Days Advance Notice. This Statement Must Be on the Description of Operations Section of the Certificate of Insurance. Upon Award of Contract to a Successful Bidder, the Contract Will Be Completely and Correctly Executed by the Contractor and Returned to the Authority Within Twenty (20) Calendar Days From the Date of Award. The Authority Will Have Thirty (30) Working Days From the Date of Award to Complete Its Execution of the Contract. A Bid Opening May Be Postponed Even After the Time Scheduled for Bid Opening When an Emergency or Unanticipated Events Interrupt Normal Governmental Processes So That the Conduct of Bid Opening as Scheduled is Impractical. In Such a Case, the Time Specified for Opening of Bids Will Be Deemed to Be Extended to the Same Time of Day Specified in the Solicitation on the First Workday on Which Normal Business Processes Resume.
