Site work and new construction of a power facility in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade power facility; and for site work for a power facility.
Construction of a new 315/25 kV Hochelaga electrical distribution station including a building for control switching equipment for its 25 kV indoor facilities and 315 kV external electrical facilities and a new 3-km power line. The value of the construction program is estimated as high $186.2M, or $134.9M for the substation and $51.3M for the lines. TIMELINE: The project is at a preliminary stage. According to the owner's expectation establishment of the project concept and a new impact study will be completed in mid-2025. Timelines of further project development are being finalized. Noted. - The owner has issued an open Call for qualifications of general contractors for construction of the new 15-25kV Hochelaga substation under the number AM006881, reference number 1782800, that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name RFQ Contractor - Construction of the New Hochelaga 315-25KV Substation. - Following the request for proposals AM007073, reference number 1799694, the owner has awarded an architectural professional consulting firms for construction of a building for the new Hochelaga substation (report under CRM ID name New Hochelaga Station Construction - Building). *The value of this project was preliminary estimated by the owner in the environmental impact study submitted to provincial authorities.
