Renovation of a mixed-use development in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and residential development.
AMP 1 and 2 HVAC Replacement Furnish and install - Energy Star Rated 95% sealed combustion natural gas furnaces 2 pipe system. The Contractor shall: o Adapt to existing duct system. Contractor is responsible to ensure that existing duct system is sized correctly and ensure proper air flow. o Use black iron gas piping for furnace connection o Ensure attic ductwork is insulated and in good condition. o Ensure proper distribution and recovery. o Ensure proper combustion air. o Install new filter grills. o Install return grills over the slab home bedroom doors. o Install electrical disconnect switch at the furnace and reconnect to existing wiring. o Install new low voltage thermostat wiring o Install new White Rogers 1f86-344 series 80 thermostats (or equal quality) non programable. o Check plenum and ductwork for moisture holes, rust and leaks. o Use iron pipe on gas line. o Add all new line sets. o Fire caulk around vents in ceiling. When the Contractor fails to complete the unit within five days of unit assignment, the contractor shall pay the Springfield Housing Authority $100.00 for each calendar day
