The Unit SHALL: be a self-priming centrifugal pump; be of heavy-duty construction and capable of sustained operation in a Commercial/Municipal operation; have an intake size of 2 inches by 2 inches; include a 2-inch camlock on inlet; have a net weight of 85 pounds; have an aluminum casing and gray iron cutwater insert; have an iron semi-open type, two-vane impeller capable of handling 1 3/16 inch (30, 2 mm) diameter spherical solids; have a replaceable carbon steel wear plate; have a double, grease-lubricated seal with a spring-loaded grease cup, sintered bronze stationary seal seats, and steel rotating faces; be capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit and suction pressure of up to 10 pounds per square inch; have an air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-cycle, gasoline engine; unit s engine shall be capable of continuous operation at 4.68 hp & 3600 rpm; be capable of dynamic operation at 5.5 hp and 3600 rpm; unit s engine displacement shall be 9.9 cubic inches; unit shall have a fuel tank capacity of 3.8 quarts minimum; an unit with one or more casing, impeller, or insert made of plastic shall not be acceptable. Pursuant to Codified Ordinance Sec. 181.36, the information requested on this page must be supplied by all Contractors and any Subcontractors having more than a fifty percent (50%) interest in the proposed contract prior to any contract being awarded by the City of Cleveland. Any Contractor or Subcontractor who is deemed to have made a false statement shall be declared to have acted in default of its contract and shall be subject to the remedies for default contained in its contract. For failure to cure such a default, the Contractor or Subcontractor shall be automatically excluded from bidding for the supply of any goods or services for use by the City for a period of two years.
