The Port of Oakland (Port) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified licensed contractors or contractor joint venture teams (Respondents) to undertake the work of the Ports On-Call Prime Builder for Building Improvement Projects at the Oakland International Airport. The On-Call Prime Builder must provide Prime Builder services as described in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ), while avoiding unnecessary disruption to Airport operations, and without compromising Airport security. The Port intends to select one (1) contractor to provide services under this RFQ for a five (5) year contract, with the Ports option to extend up to two additional one-year (12 month) periods. The Port is unable to provide a fixed estimate for the total cost of Projects that may be authorized pursuant to the Agreement. Based on projections for known improvement needs, the Port is assuming a potential Project value range of $1M to $16M for Projects that it may authorize during the initial five-year Term, with a total Contract value of up to $60M. However, this projected estimate is given strictly as a convenience to Respondents. Port makes no representation or warranty whatsoever regarding the accuracy of the estimate and is not obligated to award any particular volume of Projects or any Projects at all during the Term of the Agreement. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
