Site work for a civil project in New Westminster, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Approximately 150 m of greenway construction on North Road/East Columbia Street, including concrete works on the bridge deck, curb construction, pathway paving, driveway construction, street lighting and signal relocation, and pavement markings. The Contract is generally for the following work: Approximately 150 metres of greenway construction on North Road / East Columbia Street between the Hume Park access to the south and the Central Valley Greenway pathway north of the Brunette River. Work includes, but is not limited to: Concrete deck removal Concrete deck widening with reinforcements Additional post and railing on bridge deck Concrete curb works Importing and placing granular materials Asphalt path paving, driveway, and letdowns Signage and pavement markings Street lighting and electrical Catch basin installation Catch basin removal Sodding and hydroseeding Phase 1 of the work includes the structural scope with concrete bridge deck and railing work, and the roadway pavement markings. Phase 2 of the work includes the construction of the pathway tie-ins and electrical works on either side of the bridge structure.
