This Request for Pre-qualification (RFPQ) is a formal request for Responses from interested, qualified, modified Design Build Contractor Teams (Respondents) for future renovation, expansion and new construction projects: The purpose of this RFPQ is to prequalify Design Build Contractors who will be invited to submit a bid for the services related to the design, construction, and related work for future Town of Caledon (Town) capital projects, for 3 years with the option for two 1-year extensions. The estimated value of projects will range from $1M to $60M. Only the prequalified Respondents will be eligible to review and bid on the future Tender(s) related to the future capital projects. The successful Respondent for future tenders will act as the Town's Design Build Contractor and have sole responsibility for all necessary design build services (the Work). The following projects are anticipated (but not limited to): - 3 new Fire Stations - Mayfield Recreation Complex - Renovation and Expansion - Recreation Complex ~100,000 ft2 - New Build - Public Works Yard 3 ~58,000 ft2 - Demolition and New Build - Public Works Yard 4 ~58,000 ft2 - Demolition and New Build Projects are dependent on Council approval and funding availability. If successful in this process, a Proponent's official Pre-qualification status will ensure that their firm may receive Requests for Tender for the period of: - February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2026. - The term of Pre-qualification may be extended by the Town of Caledon for an additional one year term, February 1, 2026 to January 31, 2027. - with an option to renew for a final one-year term, February 1, 2027 to January 31, 2028. TIMELINE: Pre-qualified candidates have been identified for future bidding opportunities. Projects will be tendered individually to pre-qualified candidates as projects proceed. * The value for this project is based on a financial range.
