Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Edison, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The purpose of this contract is to resurface various roadways to the extent and limits stated on the attached Schedule A and/or as directed by the Township, in accordance to the project plans and specifications. The major items of work for this project consist of milling and resurfacing the roadway with 2 - inches of Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course; the removal and replacement of curbing, and/or curb and gutter where specified; the construction of ADA-compliant public sidewalk curb ramps; spot roadway full depth repair where identified with Hot Mix Asphalt 19M64 Base Course and Intermediate Course; replacement of regulatory and warning signs where directed; traffic markings; and other incidental appurtenances necessary for a complete job. Project to be completed in 120 amount of days after contract award and notice to proceed. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
