Surety on bonds shall be a duly authorized company acceptable to Owner No bid shall be withdrawn for 30 days after opening of bids without consent of Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will service the best interest of the Owner. 7 Project Dated:Monday, October 31st, 2022 The scope of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of but not limited to a bleacher installation behind home plate of SW softball field. Existing bleachers will be removed by owner in separate contract and completed before work as indicated in these contract documents will commence. Pre-bid Conference/Tour: A "Pre-Bid" meeting and guided jobsite tour will be upon request from November 1st to November 8th and last day for addenda is November 8th. Architect and the Owner will not respond to questions orally regarding the Project. All requests for clarifications or interpretations shall be made in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. It is anticipated the Morton CUSD 709 Board of Education will award the Project after subsequent board meetings following the bid opening.
