PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City of Ecorse is seeking the services of a qualified home designer to prepare design, engineering, and construction drawings for universally designed, ranch-style single-family homes that shall become the property of the City and which the City will distribute free of charge to prospective home builders and residents of the City of Ecorse. The City is seeking the following: Four (4) plan sets at the following dimensions: 1. One (1) 800 SF one-bedroom plan 2. One (1) 900 SF two-bedroom plan set 3. Two (2) 1,000 SF three-bedroom plan sets (with differing layouts). Each plan set shall include: 1 Building Floor Plan and Alternate Garage Floor Plan 2.Door, Window, and Plumbing Fixture Schedules 3 Cross Section (Including Roof Framing Plan/Truss Over Frame Details) 4 Foundation Plan 5 Brace Wall Plan (if applicable) 6 Building Elevations 7 Electrical Plan (with both Electric and Gas Water Heater Option Notes) 8 Energy Code Prescriptive/Approved Alternates Plan 9 Heating/Cooling Plan Question Acceptance Deadline 11/01/2022 10:00 AM EDT Questions are submitted online No Purchase Type Duration: 6 months The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
