OKDOT - Old Caddo County Maintenance Yard UST Removal Scope of work: This work shall consist of the removal and disposal of one (1) STI-P3 6,000 unleaded gasoline and one (1) STI-P3 10,000 diesel and associated piping at 700 E Broadway, Anadarko, OK. 2.1 General Requirements. The Contractor, as an independent contractor and not as an agent of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (Department), shall supply necessary personnel, equipment, tools, material and, all other items necessary for the performance of the UST tank closure including, the removing and disposing of tank contents, to the extent possible, prior to removal activities, soil testing, removal and disposal of any overlying surface material, all costs incident to excavating and handling the material, securing the site, fencing, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for visiting the site and ascertaining pertinent local conditions such as location, accessibility, and general character ofthe site, the character and extent of existing work within and adjacent to the site, and any other work being performed thereon. Any failure to do so shall not relieve the contractor from responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Department.
