Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hughson, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The City of Hughson is looking to replace all interior doors in the Senior Center, replace the windows on the north/east side of the senior center south of the entry door, add a window in the new office area at the Senior Center, replace the existing entry door with a commercial type of door in the new office area and replace the two restroom entrance doors at Starn Park. The Senior Center is located at 2307 4th St. Hughson, CA 95326. Starn Park is located at 1924 Tully Rd. Hughson, CA 95326 1) The new Senior Center interior doors are all to be solid core, paintable type except the office outside entry door. The quantities are as listed below: a) Janitors closet - (1) single door, no lock. b) Small front closet - (1) single door, no lock. c) Large front closet - (1) double door, no lock. d) Mens and womens bathrooms - (2) single doors, no lock. Add door stops. e) Main room storage closets - (2) double doors, with locks, each keyed differently. f) Office entry from main hall -(1) single door, with lock. g) Office area closet - (1) double closet slider, no lock. h) Office area bathroom - (1) single door, with pushbutton lock. i) Office area outside entry - (1) commercial entrance style door (glass and aluminum), dead bolt lock and closer. The contractor shall be responsible to provide all materials, labor and equipment needed to complete this scope. The contractor understands that all on-site labor will be done at prevailing wage rates. The quote must reflect the most recent prevailing wage determination or as amended from time to time:electronically The contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of any project waste. According to contracting law, the contractor shall provide payment and performance bonds on work totaling $25k or more. Copies of insurance certificates shall be filed with the City. General Liability Limits - $1,000,000 BI & PD combined/per occurrence/Aggregate $1,000,000 Personal Injury/Aggregate $1,000,000 Workers Compensation and Employers Liability - Statutory requirement Site work can begin mid-December. The City Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in the bids, and to make an award or any rejection in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of the City. The City Council reserves the right to award the Contract to the bidder it has determined to be the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid, and to issue a notice to proceed with the Work notwithstanding any pending or continuing challenge to its determination. The filing of a bid protest shall not preclude the City from rejecting all bids. Rejecting all bids shall render a protest moot and terminate all protest proceedings.
