The City of Redwood City ("the City") is soliciting proposals for professional consultants to conduct a chlorine boosting station feasibility study and design. The City's recycled water distribution system includes two (2) 2.18-milliongallon storage tanks, a distribution pump station, 5 sample stations, and approximately 20 miles of PVC and HDPE distribution pipeline ranging in size from 4-inches to 30-inches in diameter. Recycled water is produced by Silicon Valley Clean Water (SVCW) at the Radio Road wastewater treatment plant. The City's total recycled water demand in 2021 was approximately 237 million gallons, distributed among 173 irrigation sites, 15 commercial/industrial sites, and eight dual-plumbed sites. All necessary fuel, equipment, materials, insurances, and personnel should be included in the proposal.
