Renovation of an educational facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95, Lake County, IL, will receive sealed bids for the Roof Replacement Project at Lake Zurich High School. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope and labeled "Roof Replacement Project at Lake Zurich High School", the Date and Time of the Bid Opening, the Contractor's Name and Address. All Contractors shall use the bid day label provided with their Bid Form. SCOPE OF WORK The proposed project consists of, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 20,000 SF of existing roof areas (the insulation is scheduled to remain except as indicated) and installation of new SEBS modified bituminous roof system. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS Prospective bidders should contact Lamp Incorporated (kchristensen@lampinc.net or 847-741-7220 x315) to be placed on the bid list. All Contractors wishing to bid on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Contractors' qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporated's office by 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 9, 2022. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. The successful bidder is required to pay the Prevailing Wage for work under this Contract and shall submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to waive any technicality irregularity. Bidders failing to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the project and the existing conditions at the scope review may be rejected.
