Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975 c. 127 (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 - Affirmative Action); the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.; N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, "Statement of Ownership Disclosure"; the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.); the New Jersey Business Registration of Public Contractors provisions (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); Executive Order 117 and P.L. 2005 Chapter 51 (N.J.S.A. 19:44a-1 et seq.) and all amendments thereto Bidders must have a New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) (C008/C009) General Construction classification. No other bids will be accepted without this classification. A bid bond is required in the amount of 10% of the total bid. Bid bond shall consist of a certified check or cashiers check to the order of The College of New Jersey, or an individual or annual bid bond issued by an insurance company or surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The successful Bidder(s) is required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract. A Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification form must accompany the performance bond. The College will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder who satisfies the qualification criteria as set forth in the contract documents. The College of New Jersey reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any minor informalities in the bidding in accordance with law. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of The College of New Jersey. Bid Documents may be obtained on/after October 27, 2022 via our website (https://bids.tcnj.edu/home/constructionprojects). Remove and dispose of existing countertops, sinks, fixtures, and all piping to plumbing wall, then provide new solid-surface countertops with integral sinks, new hands-free faucets with mixing valves, and all new waste and supply piping below counters to wall with new shut off valves. Scope includes (6) gang toilet rooms at Allen Hall and (6) gang toilet rooms at Brewster Hall (34) sinks total. The College may issue Addenda or Clarifications which may include additions to or deletions from the scope of work; changes to the Specifications, Drawings, and proposal form; and clarifications of requirements. Bidder is advised to review all Addenda and/or clarifications carefully, and shall note the receipt of same with their bid package.
