Renovation of a multi-residential development in Rahway, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Proposals received after the date and time specified herein will be returned unopened to the bidder. Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the work on the outside, addressed to Jennifer Wenson Maier, Executive Director, Rahway Housing Authority, 165 E. Grand Avenue, Rahway, New Jersey 07065. Bidders must include with their bid the following documents: Statement of bidder's qualifications, experience and financial ability. Stockholder statement of ownership. Non-collusion affidavit. Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran. Bid Proposal. Acknowledgment of receipt of addenda. Questionnaire Bid Bond Consent of Surety Bidders must provide prior to signing contract with the Rahway Housing Authority: Business Registration Certificate (Due prior to signed contract) Public Works Contractor Registration Certificate (Due prior to signed contract) Insurance Certificate (Due prior to signed contract) Performance Bond (Due prior to signed contract) Affirmative Action Document (Due prior to signed contract) Political Contribution Disclosure Form (Due prior to signed contract) Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, a certified check or a cashier's check made payable to the Rahway Housing Authority, in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, but not more than $20,000. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond must be accompanied by a Certificate of Surety to guarantee the furnishing of the Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. In the event that a cashier's check or certified check is used in lieu of a surety company bond, it is necessary to also submit at the time of the bid a cashier's check or certified check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price to guarantee the performance of the work. The Rahway Housing Authority reserves its right to reject any or all bid proposals not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of 40A:11-1 et seq. and to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will best serve the interests of the Housing Authority. Bidders are required to comply with the current requirements of N.J.A.C. 17:27 Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Rules, N.J.A.C. 5:34-1 Local Public and Public School Contracts Laws Administrative Code, and N.J.S.A.
