Based upon the anticipated growth of the City of Farmington, upgrading the existing water treatment plants to provide reliable service life for the next 20 to 25 years to meet service customer demand; We need to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) on the condition of the existing facilities. The PER process will enable the City to submit for grant and funding applications for upgrades to the existing water treatment plants - This report will look at the treatment plant system hydraulics, existing treatment capacities, condition of existing structures along with treatment facility layout along with and environmental impacts along with probable costs for the alternates. This project is in included in the City of Farmington FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of October 28, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
