Bids are to be delivered no later than the prevailing due date and time indicated below, but it is strongly urged that due to Covid-19 restrictions, bids be delivered ahead of the above bid opening time. The City of Clifton is prohibited from publicly opening bids on Mondays or any day directly following a State or Federal holiday, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23 a and b. All bid addenda will be issued on the website. Therefore, all interested respondents should check the website from now through bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement. The City of Clifton is only responsible for forwarding addendums or clarifications to those prospective bidders who obtained specifications directly from the City of Clifton, Division of Purchasing, or to those who have put the City of Clifton, Division of Purchasing, on notice as having received the specification. Required bidder information can be found in the specification documents. This Proposal is solicited through a fair and open process, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. Bidders shall comply with the requirements N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 (P.L. 1975, c.127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. Bidders must get the documents from the owner and placed on the official plan holders list in order to submit a bid.
