It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Overview: DOT is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all equipment, materials and labor needed to remove and replace the EDPM roof on second story section only of the Manchester Maintenance Garage. Roughly 80' x 40' in size. This project will consist of the removal and replacement of existing EDPM roof membrane, insulation panels where necessary and parapet cap per the plans and specifications included in this solicitation. Furnish and install new, fully adhered EDPM membrane. Work to be performed during regular work days and hours, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM -3:30 PM CST. Project construction period: Estimated Start Date: Upon contract award, once notice to proceed email has been received. Coordination of project start date to be determined with Project Manager upon award. Estimated Completion Date: June 10, 2023 or earlier Warranty: One year warranty one work.
