CVWD is completing the design of the WRP 7 Aeration Improvements Project, which will reconfigure the aeration basins with the Bardenpho process using ammonia-based aeration control (ABAC). The project will replace the existing blowers with new variable high speed turbo air blowers. The objectives of this RFP are: 1) selecting high efficiency blowers that comply with the Specifications in this RFP; 2) selecting operation of blowers based on main control using ABAC and backup control using dissolved oxygen with most open valve control for the Bardenpho process; 3) Selecting respondent that has demonstrated experience with the requirements of this RFP.
