Clay Rural Water System (CRWS) Distribution System Improvements - 2022 The Project consists of three (3) Bid Schedules: Bid Schedule 1 - West Vermillion, Bid Schedule 2 - Westreville, Bid Schedule 3 - West Phase Booster to Garfield Booster. Bid Schedule 1 consists of furnishing and installation of approximately 25,710 LF of 4 inch DR21 PVC piping along with accompanying appurtenances, site work, and erosion control near Timber Road between Meckling Road and SD HWY 50. Bid Schedule 2 consists of furnishing and installation of approximately 14,669 LF of 8 inch DR21 PVC piping along with accompanying appurtenances, meter vault, site work, and erosion control near 457th Avenue between 304th Street and 307th Street. Bid Schedule 3 consists of furnishing and installation of approximately 32,090 LF of 14 inch DR18 PVC, approximately 26,813 LF of 12 inch DR18 PVC piping, along with accompanying appurtenances, water services, PRV vault, directional drilling, site work, and erosion control near 304th Street between 457th Avenue and 468th Avenue. Bid Schedule 3 also includes <1.0 mile of 4 inch DR18 PVC piping near 461st Avenue between 304th Street and 303rd Street. The scope of work generally consists of furnishing and installing a total of 14 miles of new pipeline connecting and paralleling Clay Rural Water System's existing potable water Main Transmission Pipeline. The project consists of three pipeline segments with varying sizes and material types with 200 psi to 235 psi pressure class and appurtenances as required by the Project Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. Each of the pipeline segments is contained in a separate Bid Schedule. The pipeline construction shall include the pipe and all appurtenant items, including but not limited to road crossings, creek and river crossings, fittings, valves, blowoffs, combination air release valves, thrust blocks, restrained joints, and other special fittings and appurtenances.
