The City of Weldon Spring, Missouri is seeking bids for the replacement of the shingle roof on the City Hall facility and a park small, detached pavilion. Work should commence in a timely manner following the Award of Bid to the successful Contractor as weather permits. City Hall Facility: Complete removal and disposal of existing shingle roof Install architectural shingles, approximately 52 squares, shall be consistent with or of a higher quality than the following basic shingle specifications: Architectural style and design 30-year Limited Warranty 130 mph Wind Warranty Install new felt paper, ice & water in valleys, ridge vent, drip edge, chimney cap. "Ice & Waterproof" on the side of the copper valleys where there is minimal roof pitch Replace or if in good condition reuse the existing six (6) roof vents Add cricket behind chimney chase Copper valleys to remain in place or be reinstalled if they can be salvaged. Remove megaphone speaker and set aside, do not discard, or reinstall. Take appropriate steps to limit, contain, and clean up all construction debris and materials from the site. Restore any damaged real or personal property. Small Detached Park Pavilion: Complete removal and disposal of existing shingle roof Install architectural shingles, shall be consistent with or of a higher quality than the following basic shingle specifications: Architectural style and design 30-year Limited Warranty 130 mph Wind Warranty Install new felt paper, ice & water in valleys, ridge vent, and drip edge as is applicable. Take appropriate steps to limit, contain, and clean up all construction debris and materials from the site. Restore any damaged real or personal property. Alternate Option #1: Replace shingle roof with a corrugated steel roof similar in color, style, and thickness as the roof on the large Park Building (red barn).
