As of February 3, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Preliminary Cost Estimate is provided for reference purposes only. Bidders must independently evaluate Project requirements and propose a price for completing Project construction and other obligations under the Contract Documents based on each Bidder's independent evaluation. Contractors License Required . B General Contractor. Bid Proposals must be submitted with Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bidder's proposed price to complete Project construction and obligations under the Contract Documents. Bid Security shall be in the form of cash, cashiers/certified check payable to the District, or Bid Bond in the form and content included with the Contract Documents. Submittal of Bid Security shall be in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") has determined the general prevailing rates of per diem wages for the locality of the Work. The Bidder and all Subcontractors shall be DIR Registered Contractors pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5. The Bid Proposal of a Bidder who is not a DIR Registered Contractor when the Bid Proposal is submitted will be rejected for nonresponsiveness. All Subcontractors identified in a Bidder's Subcontractors' List must be DIR Registered contractors at the time the Bid Proposal is submitted. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding. The Contract, if awarded, will be by action of the District's Board of Trustees to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest priced responsive Base Bid Proposal. If Alternate Bid Items are included in the bidding, the lowest priced Bid Proposal will be determined on the basis of the Base Bid Proposal.
