Scope of Work of the Contract includes paving and storm sewer for Timber Forest Drive (approximately 4,100 L.F. of major thoroughfare) and Common Dock Drive approximately 1,500 L.F. of commercial road), a lift station, approximately 3,500 L.F. of gravity sanitary sewer, and approximately 6,700 L.F of force main. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashiers check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid, including any and all alternates called for in the Bid Form, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The successful bidder receiving the contract award must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) each of the Total Contract price. Each such bond shall be executed by the corporate surety duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas.
