The Lincoln County Board of Education (LCBOE) is soliciting qualifications for directional sign firms for the following project: School Directional Signage Contact Eric Eaker, Chief Operations Officer, with any questions: 704-732-2261 or eeaker@lincolnk12.nc.us The primary purpose in using a signage firm is to utilize design and installation services to deliver a quality product in an economical and efficient manner. The LCBOE shall review the vendor responses and make a short-list of the top firms and will interview the representatives of those firms. A firm will be selected based on the best value criteria identified in the RFQ. If the LCBOE cannot adequately negotiate a price with the selected vendor, then the LCBOE may choose another vendor. The district has approximately 11,750 students. The LCBOE reserves the right to reject any or all of the submitted responses. The LCBOE is seeking a qualified and experienced sign manufacturer for the following: designing outside directional signage indicating the location of key areas on the school campus and Emergency Action Plan signage for each middle and high school athletic facility. The signage should incorporate the school's logo and colors, will be placed at the main and secondary entrances of each school campus (other locations as recommended by the vendor), and should allow for easy modifications as needed. The signs must comply with any state or local right of way regulations.
