**As of January 3, 2022 this project has been awarded to Zane Grace Construction with bid amount of $819,013.85.** Street and Storm Drainage System Improvements to Serve Jones Drive, Brick Street, Northside Drive and Bacon Street. The Project consists of approximately 1,800 linear feet of assorted 15"-30" storm drain piping, 5,000 linear feet of 24" roll-over curb and gutter, various curb inlets & drop inlets and associated 9.5 mm Superpave Asphalt Resurfacing along with additional items indicated in the Contract Documents No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bids will not be accepted from prospective bidders not on record with the Issuing Office as having purchased and received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening with one exception. NPDES Stormwater permitting will be required on this project and the contractor shall be responsible for filing NOI, NOT, and payment of all applicable land disturbance fees. Acquisition of property for easements and/or right of way is not expected to be required for this project. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Community Development Block Grant program and, as such, is subject to Federal and State contract provisions.
