Last Date to Submit Questions Regarding the RFQ Friday, November 11, 2022 Town of Wendell- Addenda Issued Wednesday, November 16, 2022 Project Start Date March 2023 Scope of Services Responses to the RFQ should identify all services needed to meet the components of the project purpose above. Firms responding to the RFQ should demonstrate competencies in community planning, architectural, schematic design, design development, site plan design, construction drawings, building and award services, construction administration services, engineering, surveying, and associated disciplines. Project Site The Old Carver School site is located at 948 Morphus Bridge Road just east and south of the town limits of Wendell at the intersection with E. Third Street. The building to be rehabilitated is the older, eastern structure closed to the intersection. The planning area for the surrounding Pleasant Grove Community encompasses in the west the area from the Town limits on Third Street, east to the intersection of Morphus Bridge Road and Lions Club Road, north to undeveloped properties north of Old Quarry Road adjoining town limits, and south properties adjoining Morphus Bridge Road not in the Town jurisdiction. The map below provides the general area for both components of the project. All questions related to this Request for Proposals are to be submitted in writing to Town Manager Marvin Collins no later than 3:00pm on Friday, November 11, 2022. Submitted questions and the responses along with any necessary addendums to the RFQ will be issued via the Town of Wendell at portal no later than 11:00am on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Questions may be submitted via email to mcollins@townofwendell.com. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or as may be permitted by law. The Town reserves the right to request oral interviews or request additional information from any or all vendors. Vendors should not rely on the opportunity to alter their qualifications during any presentation or discussion. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
