The City of Centralia is accepting sealed bids for the chemicals Liquid Caustic Soda, Hydrofluosilicie Acid, Sodium Permanganate, and Aqua Ammonia. The bid will be delivered prices to: Water Treatment Plant, 2219 Old 51 Road, Centralia Deliveries shall be offered at least weekly. Orders shall be deliverable within 5 calendar days of order being placed. Orders will be placed on as needed basis. Delivery shall be between 8 am and 4 pm on the date specified by the City at time order is placed. Bidder understands that stated order amounts are not guaranteed minimums. Chemicals must be NSF approved, suitable for potable water treatment. All bid prices shall be guaranteed until October 1st, 2023. All Bids must waive container deposit billings/credit memos, Eaefc individual chemical listed will be considered a separate bid item. The bids are to be submitted on City of Centralia Bid Form, and the outside of the envelope marked "WATER PLANT CHEMICAL BID", All bidders do warrant, by submitting a bid, that, they are familiar with the docking and unloading facilities and requirements at the plant site. Bidder shall be liable for any property or en vironmental damage at plant site caused by their unsafe or improper actions during the delivery procedure, and City shall not be held liable for any injury to bidder's delivery personnel resulting from bidder's unsafe or improper actions. A bid, once accepted, is a binding agreement. Failure to deliver in accordance with said bid will constitute a breach of con tract and will expose the bidder to liability. Any exception to any bid specifications shall be clearly noted and may be consid ered just cause for bid rejection. The City of Centralia reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive techns calities.
