Renovation of a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The following provides a general overview of the scope of work for this project. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: .1 Replacement or modification of existing fixed access ladders. .2 Replacement or modification of safety cages on existing fixed access ladders. .3 Installation of non-slip tape or non slip covers on existing round ladder rungs. .4 Installation of new self closing gates at access platforms adjacent to existing ladders. .5 Installation of extendable side rails to select fixed ladders. .6 Installation of handrails or guards to select mechanical room stairs and platforms. .7 Replacement, modification or installation of new stairs and/or platforms in select locations. .8 Fabricate and install new safety tie back anchors at the 25 floor of RHC-X1B.
