Engineering Project for Charlie Brown Road, Burnsville, Yancey County, NC wastewater collection system extension project. Yancey County is seeking statements of qualifications from firms capable of providing engineering, planning, and consulting services for the purposes of designing, permitting, bidding, and administering construction of an 1,180 LF gravity sewer and 2,150 LF of sewer force main along with a pump station, to provide wastewater collection service to Charlie Brown Road in western Yancey County, North Carolina, just adjacent to and lying west of the jurisdictional boundaries of the Town of Burnsville. The County is seeking the services of qualified firms with extensive knowledge and background in the field of engineering. These services shall include providing the following: The Project shall include engineering, planning, and consulting services for the purposes of designing, permitting, bidding, and administering construction of an 1,180 LF gravity sewer and 2,150 LF of sewer force main along with a pump station, to provide wastewater collection service to Charlie Brown Road in western Yancey County, North Carolina, just adjacent to and lying west of the jurisdictional boundaries of the Town of Burnsville. The scope of services may include, but is not limited to, preliminary and other engineering reports, environmental document preparation if required, engineering design of selected alternative(s), permitting, bidding, construction administration and observation, and project close-out. For the duration of the Project, the selected firm will work in cooperation with the Yancey County Manager's office and other county and Town of Burnsville staff as she may direct and assign to develop the goals of the project. The selected firm shall be under contract until the final Engineer's Certification and Applicant's Certification is granted.
