Project No: Y21722.01 Pawtucket Bridge 055001 PTS ID: 2605W The objective of this project is to replace the existing lighting at Bridge 550 in Pawtucket and implement an overheight detection system in East Greenwich and West Warwick, Rhode Island. RI DOT - Pawtucket Bridge Lighting and Bridge Strike Detection Systems R.I. Federal Aid Project No. STP-CARB(002) and R.I. Contract No. 2022-CT-056 are for the Pawtucket Bridge Lighting & Bridge Strike Detection Systems project. The project limits include I-95 over Pawtucket River Bridge 055001 between George Street and School Street in Pawtucket and I-95 between the Quaker Lane (Route 2) and New London Turnpike interchanges in West Warwick and East Greenwich. The work associated with the general lighting improvements and the installation of the overheight vehicle detection systems includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of architectural lighting, control system equipment and control cabling (as required) on Pawtucket River Bridge 055001 and the Pleasant Street Underpass 155101; installation of conduit and helical pile-mounted cabinets to improve maintainability of the lighting system; installation of overheight vehicle detection sensors and associated equipment; installation of guardrail; cleaning of catch basins; flushing of pipes; erosion control and all other incidentals necessary to execute the work complete in place and accepted within the limits of this contract to the satisfaction of the Engineer.
