The intent of the City is to procure the services of one (1) qualified General Contractor related to the construction of the Tulip Blvd. and College Park Road Intersection Improvement Project including minor traffic calming on College Park Road and traffic signal modifications on Gatlin Blvd. at Port St. Lucie Blvd. A location map is provided for these locations. The intersection improvements consist of the following items: Tulip Boulevard at Gatlin / Port St. Lucie Boulevard o Add new dedicated right turn lane eastbound past College Park Road o Replace Mini-roundabout with raised concrete median to Sandbar Street o Traffic Signal Modifications for westbound traffic College Park Road at Tulip Boulevard o Provide new crosswalks and sidewalks on the north and south side of Tulip Boulevard o Raised crosswalk on Tulip Boulevard and speed table on College Park Rd The work shall be in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Plans and Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (FY 2022-2023). The Contractor is to provide a complete project as shown and described in the contract documents, bid specifications and project plan set prepared by Culpepper & Terpening, Inc. consisting of the following: Tulip Blvd/College Park Rd Intersection Improvements Project Plan Sheets 1-18 The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, labor, and equipment necessary for a complete project based on all specifications and any Contract amendments that may be deemed necessary. The construction Contract period is two hundred seventy (270) calendar days with no option for renewal. The Contractor must have all the required licenses and certifications necessary to perform this work. The approved Licenses for this work include a State of Florida General Contractor License. It is the Contractors responsibility to verify with the Citys Building Department that they possess the proper licenses and certifications to perform the work prior to submitting a bid.
