Request for Qualifications (Rfq) the North Dakota Department of Water Resources (Dwr) is Requesting Proposals From Qualified Firms to Develop a Capital Improvement Plan (Cip) for the Devils Lake West End Outlet (West Outlet). The Purpose of the Cip is to Outline Capital Improvements for the West Outlet to Maintain Long-term Operations. The State Water Commission Owns and Operates Two Outlets From Devils Lake: West Outlet and East End Outlet. The West and East End Outlets Are Emergency Infrastructure Operating to Reduce Flood Inundation Caused by High Lake Levels on Devils Lake. Dwr Staff Operate the Devils Lake Outlets on Behalf of the State Water Commission. The West Outlet Was Originally Commissioned in 2005 and Has Been Operating Ever Since. Selected Firm(S) Will Provide Technical Assistance to Develop a Cip for the West Outlet. The Anticipated Project Scope Will Include Performing a Review of as-built Plans and Other Information Available Related to the West Outlet, Inspection of Infrastructure for the West Outlet, Documentation of Inspection Findings, and Development of a West Outlet Cip. Interested Firms Should Have Experience With: 1. Water Infrastructure Projects; 2. Capital Improvement Plans.
