Scope of work would include: - Evaluate damage to guardrail and identify materials needed for repair; - Pick up materials from the City yard; - Locate undergrounds before notifying City of date of repair; - Notify the City representative 48 hours before date of repair so public can be notified of the restriction; - Set up lane restriction (left or right) as per attached plan with this solicitation document. Site specific Traffic Restriction Plan will be provided by City at time of work per location, (if contractor set up); - Remove damaged materials, transport back to bridge compound; - Install new materials as per Annex C.2 - Guardrail Specifications and Drawings included with this RFQ; - Remove traffic restriction, (if contractor set up); - Respond to emergency repair within 48 hours; and - If not deemed emergency, when possible work on Ring Road between 9am and 4pm to avoid peak hours. Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by: Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement Deadline for Questions: Friday, December 02, 2022
