Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information" The City of Bristol is seeking bids to perform survey work for property at 532 Stevens Street, Bristol CT, known as Northeast Middle School. All quoted prices shall include cost of delivery to the Bristol Board of Education, located at 129 Church Street, Bristol, Connecticut. Survey shall include the grades and lines of streets, boundaries and contours, pavements, structures, utilities, rights of way, easements, restrictions, encroachments, zoning designations, and wetlands delineation. Find property corners within survey limits, or where property corners cannot be located, reset corners within project limits. Prepare any easement documentation as necessary, as directed by City Engineer. Survey maps (2 copies each plan) shall be provided, signed and sealed by professional land surveyor. Electronic copies (compatible with AutoCad not less than version 2014) shall also be provided. The Surveyor shall attach the lump sum fee or rate and price schedule information or both to this proposal as indicated. The cost of the Survey shall be at the agreed upon lump sum price which shall include the cost of furnishing all materials, surveying equipment, computers, labor, research costs, reproduction costs, insurance, transportation, travel and per diem expenses, and submittals as necessary to complete the survey in accordance with the specifications. In addition to the Insurance requirements in the General Provisions, the selected individual or firm shall provide and maintain coverage for claims under Worker's Compensation Acts, and Liability Insurance. The surveyor's proposal shall state the coverages and limits of liability of professional liability insurance that will be maintained for protection from claims arising out of the performance of professional services. Certificates of Insurance evidencing the above coverages shall be made available at the Owner's request. The Surveyor shall contact the Owner when work shall commence and for information regarding the site and shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage to the property, visible and concealed, and shall reasonably restore the site to the condition existing prior to the Surveyor's entry, including, but not limited to, repair of lawns and plantings. The survey and deliverable shall be prepared pursuant to the regulations of Connecticut State Agencies Sections 20-300B-1 thru 20 and the "Standards for Surveys and Maps in the State of Connecticut" as adopted by the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors, Inc. on September 26, 1996. Standard of Accuracy Property Line/Boundary: A-2 Standard of Accuracy Topographic Survey: T-2. Horizontal: North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) Vertical: North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) Location of Vertical and Horizontal control shall be noted on the plans and shown graphically if located within the mapping limits. Perform research to determine existing property lines and easements within the survey area. Coordinate with City for preparation of new easement descriptions, as needed. Set property corners within survey limits, where applicable. Identify streets, right of way width and type of pavement. Identify street monuments and other property monumentation within the survey limits. Two paper copies of the completed survey and any required easement documents, signed and sealed by the Professional Land Surveyor, shall be submitted. An AutoCad (Version 2014 or later) .dwg file shall be provided. A print out list of all survey point numbers and their associated northing and easting coordinates, elevations, and shot descriptions. If shot descriptions are numerical codes, a listing defining the shot code shall be provided. The selected firm is required to provide all survey points data to the Bristol Board of Education for use in any subsequently required survey work.
