Remodeling and renovation of an educational facility in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
General Remodeling and HVAC Replacement - Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy. This project involves work at Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy. The work in general includes, but is not limited to, remodeling of existing classrooms to create STEAM labs, replacement of existing mechanical equipment, and addition of a boiler system including all associated demolition, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Work is to be awarded as a single contract. It is the policy of the District to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts and accordingly promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract issued against the solicitation to bid. The bidder shall have awritten sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2- 105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
