Providence Health Care of its intent to contract Viessman Manufacturing Company for the provision of three (3) Single Gas Boiler, Boiler Control, Engineered Seismic Bracket Kit, and commissioning by factory-trained technician. Reasons for not calling for proposals is provided in the Notice of Intent # 102622. The Providence Health Care ("PHC") of its intent to contract with Viessman Manufacturing Company Inc. ("Viessmann") for the provision of the following: 1. Three (3) 300 CA3B 6.0 - Single Gas Boiler, complete with: a) 30 psi PRV, b) Neutralization Tank, and c) NG to LPG Conversion Kit; 2. Three (3) Vitotronic 200 GW6C Boiler Control for Vitocrossal 300 CA3B 6.0 - Single Gas, complete with: a) Three (3) Boiler LON Card, b) Three (3) LON Cable, c) One (1) LON Terminal Resistor, and d) One (1) Vitocontrol-S, CA3-03 Three-Boiler Staging Control (CA3B2.5-4.0); 3. Three (3) Engineered Seismic Bracket Kit (CA3B); and 4. Commissioning by Viessman Factory-Trained Technician, including combustion tapes for efficiency verification. The total value of this contract is for $434,000.00 including taxes with delivery by early February 2023. PHC has chosen not to call for proposals at this time for the following reasons: 1. The selected boiler was identified as excellent performance from previous design and with following features: a) The boiler has a heating capacity 6000 MBH with 16:1 turn down ratio, the efficiency up to 96%; b) The selected boiler can operate with a low inlet gas pressure of only 4" of W.C., eliminating the need for gas booster. With low water pressure drop, the heat exchangers are ideal for variable primary system and eliminate the need for a dedicated boiler circulator; c) The Viessmann's offers inbuilt cascading control systems for up to 16,000 MBH, and also offer custom boiler controls with cascading system inputs of greater than 90,000 MBH; d) The custom controllers also offer additional options such as real time system loading, VFD pump outputs, BTU metering, and efficiency trending which suit the applications on this project; and e) The boiler is small enough to fit in the boiler room through the narrow door with all loose parts and assembled. 2. This boiler has an integrated boiler, burner, control, and heat recovery system, and has minimum excess air across the operating range. From an efficiency and emissions standpoint, it is the best fuel efficiency of any fire tube system. Parties wishing to object to this decision must contact anna@ccpurchasing.com on or before the Closing Time. Parties must outline specific reasons for their objections. Qualifications and ability to provide boilers that meet the following requirements: 1. Fit through the 42 1/2 " W x 85 1/2 " H door, 2. Thermal Efficiency is up to 96.1%, 3. Same or better level of fuel efficiency of 94.1% combustion, and 4. Delivery within the required time frame of early February 2023 will be the key criteria regarding the consideration of objections.
