Renovation of an educational facility in Algonquin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Notice is hereby given that Community Unit School District 300, Kane County, IL will receive sealed bids from interested roofing contractors for the Roofing Work Bid Package at Jacobs High School. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope, and labeled "Bid Package - "Jacobs High School Roof Work" along with the date and time of the bid opening, the Contractor's name and address. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope, and labeled accordingly. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the base bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. Bid Bond or certified check should be made out to Community Unit School District 300. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. The Board of Education of Community Unit School District 300 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. Bidders failing to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the project and the existing conditions at the scope review may be rejected.
