Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Scottsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Buckingham County is seeking bids for paving the Glenmore E.M.S. Station located at 1625 Glenmore Rd. Scottsville, Va. 24590. Bids should include all prep work, paving and striping. 1) Remove all loose stone from parking lot area up to 11,100 sqft, includes entrance, front of building, side of building & rear of building. 2) Mill joint at the street to tie asphalt into. 3) Install tack on all joint areas, street, concrete aprons. 4) Install BM25.0 asphalt (base) 4" inches thick to entire parking lot area up to 11,100 sqft. 5) Compact all BM25.0 asphalt with rollers. 6) Install tack to all BM25.0 asphalt. 7) Install SM12.5 asphalt (topping) 2" inches thick to entire parking lot up to 11,100 sqft. 8) Compact SM12.5 asphalt with rollers. 9) Install (2) bollards on side of building. * 10) Stripe up to 5 parking spaces in front of building. 11) Haul off all debris from job site. 12) Work will need to be completed by the end of Nov. 2022.
