RFP Contractors - Parks Maintenance Services Continuing Services Contract. The City of Hialeah, Florida (hereinafter referred to as the "City"), is hereby soliciting Proposals for a three-year term, with an option to renew for one (1) additional (2) two-year term, from qualified contractors for Parks Maintenance Services under a continuing services contract. The CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and all other necessary incidentals required to perform complete landscaping of the City's parks and facilities as specified herein. For the purposes of this RFP, a Qualified Company/Entity means a company/entity that has submitted Form A-8, and meets all Minimum Requirements, Section 1.6, to the City and was deemed qualified by the City. Any Qualified Company wishing to submit a Proposal shall comply with the requirements contained in this Request for Proposals ("RFP" or "Solicitation") for Grounds Maintenance Services (RFP Number: 2022-23-3130-36-016). (The City reserves the right to delay or modify scheduled dates and will notify Proponents of all changes in scheduled dates.) *Irrevocable and cannot be withdrawn for 180 days from submittal. Last date for receipe of written questions: Tuesday November 22, 2022 2:00 PM. The City of Hialeah reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Hialeah for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the contract. All communications concerning this Solicitation should be directed to the City's Purchasing Manager. Potential Bidders and their agents and employees shall not contact the Mayor, any member of the City Council, or any member of the City staff, except the Purchasing Manager, to discuss this Solicitation. Imposition of a cone of silence on this Invitation to Bid shall not preclude purchasing staff from obtaining industry comment or performing market research provided all communications related thereto with a potential offeror, service provider, Bidder, lobbyist, or consultant are in writing or are made at a duly noticed public meeting.
