For Reimagine Greece - Capital Improvement Project - Phase R5A - 502 - Plumbing Construction - District Wide Renovations PADDY HIL - 26-05-01-06-0-007-017 ARCADIA MS/HS - 26-05-01-06-0-012-048 This Prime Contractor (Prime Contract #502) is responsible to make arrangements with the Utility Company for extension of any gas service and associated cost if any. Refer to Division 22 Plumbing for requirements. This Prime Contractor shall be responsible for all extensions required on vents, caps, guy wires, stacks, and exhausts at roof elevations. All extensions integrated with the roofing material should be coordinated by the Plumbing Contractor (Prime Contract #502) with the General Contractor (Prime Contract #501) for proper sealing and flashing, maintain the roofsystem integrity, flashings, and warranty . This Prime Contractor is responsible for removal and installation ofall foundations, pads, floor patching, infill, concrete finishes or support required for all plumbing equipment. Equipment pads for the Prime Plumbing Contractor will be provided by the Prime Plumbing Contractor (Prime Contract #502). Locations- Paddy Hill Elementary School (PH) 1801 Latta Rdn Rochester, NY 14612 Arcadia Middle/High School (ARMS/ARHS) 130 Island Cottage Rd. Rochester, NY 14612 Bids shall be submitted in triplicate on the form provided in the documents, prepared and set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the bidder and contract number and title of work to which the proposal relates. Under General Municipal Law 102(2), the Owner shall return the entire amount of the deposit submitted by each successful and unsuccessful bidder whose bid is accompanied by required bid security, upon the proper return of one set of plans and specifications. If an unsuccessful bidder obtains more than one set of plans, the Owner, upon the successful return of all additional sets, shall also return an amount equal to the deposit for one of the additional sets of plans and specifications less the cost of reproducing the set. If a nonbidder properly returns all sets of the plans and specifications, the Owner shall return an amount equal to the deposit for one set less the cost of reproducing the set. Sets to be returned to DATAFLOW. The Board of Education hereby reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the school district. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be submitted by each Bidder with their Bid as a guarantee that in the case of the contract being awarded to them, they will within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, and that Bidder shall not withdraw their Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the above date of Bid opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in Instructions to Bidders. Attention of the Bidders is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid tinder this Contract as well as to other provisions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Work shall be commenced and continuously and diligently prosecuted immediately after contracts have been signed.
