Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the Following: underground sewer & water utilities, underground electrical & communications utilities, sewer & water connections to the modular office, electrical & low voltage connections to the modular office, tapping into existing live water & sewer systems, coordinating shutdowns for tie-ins of electrical and low voltage, pulling wire through existing conduits, manholes, and pull boxes, repair of asphalt and landscaping, purchase and supply of electrical equipment, etc. McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., an equal opportunity employer, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from subcontractors and suppliers for the above project including but not limited to Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms. McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the above project. The project is water, sewer, electrical, and communications utilities for a Modular Office for the City of Henderson. The project is expected to be out for bid in November 2022. Scopes of work associated with the utility installation include but are not limited to: underground sewer & water utilities, underground electrical & communications utilities, sewer & water connections to the modular office, electrical & low voltage connections to the modular office, tapping into existing live water & sewer systems, coordinating shutdowns for tie-ins of electrical and low voltage, pulling wire through existing conduits, manholes, and pull boxes, repair of asphalt and landscaping, purchase and supply of electrical equipment, etc. for a complete and working utility system. In addition to any requirements that the Owner may have, McCarthy requires that: 1.Subcontractors having subcontract amounts over $500,000 and exterior skin scopes of work including waterproofing, roofing,plaster and fall protection systems, contractors provide performance and payment bonds and 2. Suppliers having purchase order amounts greater than $500,000 provide contract supply bonds. All bonds are to be for 100% of the subcontract or purchase order amount, as applicable, and from a surety listed in U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and have an A.M. Best Rating of A- or better. If your firm is listed as a proposed subcontractor in any listing required by law or the contract documents, such listing and subsequent awardof a subcontract is contingent on your firm providing bonds meeting both Owner and McCarthy requirements.
