**As of January 24, 2023, project is on hold. no definite date for rebid.** This Statement of Work covers the necessary work required to provide all necessary labor and materials to furnish and repair humidity climate controls located at the VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. Contractor shall adhere to all local Mechanical Codes. These components are necessary to provide the correct humidity windows to support surgical procedures. The controls are compromised at this time and affecting direct patient care. Furnish and install HVAC components to correct humidity controls in Genitourinary Urology Surgical Suite Contractor shall provide all parts and labor to install/interface the following components in the HVAC distribution in support of the required humidity windows for Genitourinary Urology Surgical suite. Contractor shall remove and replace existing compromised components and replace with the following: (please see submittals for specifics to the equipment/components to be installed) Perform job briefing with contractor schedule appropriate start time and Safety protocols 1. (2) - Duct steam humidifiers 2. (2) - Pumps(condensate) 3. One day of training 4. Ductwork 5. Insulation 6. Controls to be supplied by Siemens 7. Steam piping reconfiguration 8. Steam condensate piping 9. Contractor will perform a startup and provide training on the new controls upon the completion of the work. 1.
