Sealed bids provide furnishing and delivery of K-5 Sand to the Cumberland County Solid Waste Complex The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids provided by Bidders. The Authority is not responsible for any hand delivered or third party delivered bids that do not arrive at the proper time or location Any such bid will be returned unopened to the vendor. All documents contained in this package must be returned to the Authority in their original form. No substitutions, alterations, or modifications of any of the bid documents are permitted. Bids shall be made on the bid forms provided and in the manner prescribed. This bid is being solicited through fair and open process in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, and shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Statute and Regulations), N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27 (the Prevailing Wage Act) and 42 U.S.C.A. 12101 et seq. (the Americans with Disabilities Act.) All Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (P.L. 1977, c.33) and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with their submitted bid. The award of the contract shall be made subject to the necessary moneys to do the work being provided by the Cumberland County Improvement Authority in a lawful manner. The contract to be executed by the successful Bidder will provide that it shall not become effective until the necessary moneys to do the work have been provided by the Cumberland County Improvement Authority in a lawful manner. The award shall further be subjected to the securing of necessary State, Federal or Local permits governing the work. All Bidders must provide a copy of their State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, along with copies of the State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate of all sub-contractors, prior to the award of the bid in accordance with such act. All Bidders are hereby notified they must comply with N.J.S.A. 34:22-56.48 et seq. (the Public Works Contractor Registration Act) and any subcontractors are to be registered under said act. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids as provided for in the instructions to Bidders or otherwise. The awardee and all subcontractors must provide a copy of their State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury prior to the time a contract is awarded or authorized. Bidders shall not submit bids with qualifying conditions or provisions. The Authority reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities, and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the Authority and in accordance with applicable law. ln order to encourage full participation in this opportunity, submit any requests for accommodations of people with disabilities to the Authority (856) 825-3700.
