Site work for a water / sewer project in Surf City, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of constructing the following: Open bore drill of the new public supply well and abandonment in place of the existing public supply well #2 A. Work of the Project includes drilling new Public Supply Well 6 (2A) on the site of existing Well 2. Well 2 onsite will be abandoned in place but will act as a monitoring reference well until the new Well 6 (2A) has been constructed. B. Furnish labor, materials, equipment, services and accessories, and install materials, equipment and accessories, necessary to provide a complete and functioning system as shown on the Drawings and specified in the Construction Specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall comply with Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) requirements which are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders shall comply with the NC Division of Water Infrastructure's Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) requirements, Davis-Bacon Specifications, and American Iron and Steel Provisions, which are all included in the Bidding Documents MBE 10.9% WBE 10.4%
