Sealed bids will be received by the Darby Creek Joint Authority to perform Right of Way Mowing to Darby Creek Joint Authority Trunk Sewers. Each bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid made payable to the order of the Darby Creek Joint Authority. Each bid must be enclosed in a securely sealed envelope and be endorsed DCJA R.O.W. MOWING CONTRACT with the name of the Bidder clearly marked on the envelope and to be accompanied by a signed commitment of the proposed surety offering to execute a Performance Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contractor Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in such form and having as security thereon, such Surety Company as is approved by the Authority, in an amount of not less than the total accepted bid No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the receiving and opening of bids. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract to waive any informalities in the bids.
