Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Bastrop, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Bastrop County is in need of an Architectural firm, registered in the State of Texas, to provide design and construction services to Bastrop County for the finish out of two (2) pre-engineered metal buildings (a 40ft by 200ft Office and a 60ft by 220ft warehouse). The two (2) pre-engineered metal buildings are currently under construction and will have rough-in plumbing, rough-in electrical and will be insulated with 4 inches of fire retardant insulation on the walls and ceiling. The finished facility will house three (3) separate Bastrop County Departments and the awarded Architectural firm shall conduct a needs assessment for all involved Departments to produce a design that meets their needs. As of July 10, 2024, the design firm has been selected. Phase 1 is complete (Design and erection of the metal buildings), Phase 2 is in the bidding process (Finish out construction and site work). Construction is slated to begin Fall 2024. However, the firm timeline has not been released.
