The Edwards Aquifer Authority (EAA) is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors to perform preventative maintenance checks and services (PMC&S) on the EAA's network of Automated Meter Reading (AMR) stations throughout the EAA's jurisdiction, with stations primarily located in Uvalde, Medina and Bexar counties. AMR stations are located at permitted and privately-owned Edwards Aquifer wells and connect to the well's mechanical or electronic water meter. Through this connection, meter readings are converted to electronic signals that store and transmit the electronic meter readings to the EAA. A qualified Contractor will perform PMC&S on the electric and electronics support portions of the AMR system.
