Renovation of a residential development in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Project Consists of: the Removal of Existing Membrane Roofing Down to Existing Deck to Remain and Installation of New Membrane Roofing System Inclusive of Insulation Board, Cover Board and All Flashing Membranes. The Removal of Existing Asphalt Shingle Roofing System and Installation of New Asphalt Shingle Roofing System Including Flashing at Transition Between Asphalt Shingles and Membrane Roofing. A Portion of This Project is Funded by Cdbg Federal Funds. Hud and State Wage Rates Will Apply to This Project. The Higher of the Two Shall Be Applicable. General Bidders Must Be Certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (Dcamm) in the Following Category of Work, Roofing, and Must Submit a Current Dcamm Certificate of Eligibility and Signed Dcamm Prime/general Contractor Update Statement. Bids Are Subject to M.g.l. C.149 44a-j & to Minimum Wage Rates as Required by M.g.l. C.l49 26 to 27h Inclusive. General Bids and Sub-bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit That is Not Less Than Five (5%) of the Greatest Possible Bid Amount (Considering All Alternates), and Made Payable to the Barnstable Housing Authority. The Combined Participation Benchmark Reserved for Such Enterprises Shall Not Be Less Than 13.0% of the Final Contract Price Including Accepted Alternates. Request for Waivers Must Be Sent to Dhcd (Da Vid. Mcc Lave@mass.gov) 5 Calendar Days Prior to the General Bid Date - No Waivers Will Be Granted After the General Bids Are Opened.
